Leslie has over 20 years of dynamic experience in commercial real estate, as a buyer and a seller, and has worked as a Business Development Officer in specialty areas such as environmentally challenged sites and new construction for several regional and national companies. Leslie has fashioned her career in the real estate services industry since graduating from The Ohio State University, buying her first commercial investment property in 1993, she continues to be an active investor today. She has completed continuing education courses at Hondros College in Columbus, and various other industry related courses throughout the years. In October 2010, Leslie successfully completed the Certified Commercial Investment Member education program through the CCIM Institute in Chicago, in just 13 months. She was also the recipient of the “Ohio Push for the Pin Scholarship” by the CCIM Education Foundation. Leslie will be the Ohio CCIM Chapter President in in 2018. Ms. Biskner opened the Central Ohio office of CBS in October 2006, since that time CBS has successfully closed and has serviced more than $275,000,000.00 in commercial real estate and business loans, just in Central Ohio alone.

It is not only her education and experience which augment her versatility, but also her active participation in the community and the industry. Leslie has served on several community boards including the Westerville Parks Foundation. She is a past National Delegate and a past President of the Columbus Commercial Real Estate Women, and in past years, she was awarded by her CREW peers as “Networker of the Year," and has also received the “CREW Deal of the Year Award." She is an Associate Member of the Columbus Commercial Industrial Investment Realtors (CCIIR), and is an active member in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2012, she was the Westerville Chairman’s Award Honoree for the Chamber. Early in 2015, also received the "2014 Lender of the Year" award by the Ohio Statewide Development Corporation (OSDC). In 2015, Leslie was awarded Genoa Township Business Association’s “Business Person of the Year”. Leslie is also regularly invited to participate as a panelist for the Entrepreneur Exchange Program, funded by the SBA Scale Up America Initiative.

As Executive Vice President and Director of Marketing, Leslie leads a team responsible for business loan originations in Central Ohio and all corporate marketing initiatives employed under her direction throughout the Midwest and beyond.

John M. Skeldon currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Cooperative Business Services (CBS) in Northwest Ohio.  As Senior Vice President, he is responsible for business loan originations in Northwest Ohio. John is a 2004 graduate of the University of Toledo's Edward H. Schmidt Business School where he majored in Professional Sales and Commercial Real Estate. 

Prior to joining CBS, John held positions as an account representative with Crown Equipment Corporation and as both a leasing specialist and development coordinator with Rudolph/ Libbe Properties. While at Rudolph/ Libbe Properties, John focused his efforts on new business development, specializing in leasing, retail development, and build-to-suit opportunities in the Ohio, Michigan, North and South Carolina, and Texas markets. 

John currently serves as a board member for the Regional Growth Partnership, Toledo Museum of Art’s Circle 2445 and is an incoming board member for Susan G. Komen of Northwest Ohio. He formerly served as a board member for the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society. He is a member of EPIC Toledo, as well as the Toledo Club, where he serves on the social and entertainment committee. John was a 2015 recipient of the Toledo 20 Under 40 Award.

Jonathan A. Mokri currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for Cooperative Business Services, LLC in Northeast Ohio.  Jonathan brings a strong background to CBS with regard to traditional commercial real estate lending, real estate development and nontraditional financing.  Prior to joining CBS, Jonathan worked for Geis Companies in their development arm, Hemingway Development, where he underwrote and coordinated the financing of industrial and office projects throughout the United States. Jonathan began his career at Pinnacle Financial Group in Independence Ohio, one the region’s top commercial mortgage broker firms, where he learned the fundamentals of commercial real estate finance.  Jonathan has direct work experience with key developments in Cleveland’s Midtown and surrounding suburbs, many of which have granted him arcane knowledge of state and federal programs and the ability to secure capital in the form of grants and low interest loans. Jonathan is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

As Vice President at CBS, Jonathan is responsible for business loan originations in Northeast Ohio.

Jill Cottone currently serves as the Vice President of Corpoerate Sales and Service for Cooperative Business Services. Jill is a Graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Accounting.

Prior to joining CBS, Jill was a Business Consultant for the Ohio Credit Union League where she sold CBS services to credit unions. During her time with the OCUL, she signed on numerous credit union clients for CBS. Jill has 28 years in the credit union industry, and has worked for 2 credit unions, CUNA Mutual Group, and myCUmortgage.

Rob Thomas currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Sales and Service for Cooperative Business Services. Rob has more than 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry to deliver innovative solutions to business clients. Prior to joining CBS, Rob Thomas was VP, Business Development for CU Partner Link and worked with credit unions to offer innovative financial products to credit union business members and generate additional sources of revenue.

Prior to CU Partner Link, Rob worked for NOWaccount Corp. in business development and worked with CUs across the US. Prior to NOWaccount, Rob worked for TD Bank, a top 10 bank based in Toronto, with a major presence in the U.S. Rob also has worked in senior leadership positions at Regions Financial Corp., BBVA/Compass, Synovus Financial Corp., and SouthTrust Bank.  He started his banking career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in the management trainee program. 

 

Rob received several Greenwich Excellence Awards in Business Banking, BBVA/Compass Bank Marketing Excellence awards and been recognized in a variety of industry publications.  Rob has been a featured speaker at the ABA Small Business Sales Management conferences and other financial services conferences.  Rob was selected to serve on the Consumer Bankers Association Small Business Committee. Rob received a B. S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, where he was a scholarship athlete on the varsity golf team. In addition, he received his BAI Graduate School of Bank Financial Management from Vanderbilt University and completed the Emory University/Synovus Leadership Institute.

Thomas “T.J.” Simyak currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Cooperative Business Services in West Virginia. T.J. is a 2007 Graduate of West Virginia University where he studied Business Administration and Marketing. While at WVU, he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and played on the Men’s Club Volleyball team. Prior to joining CBS, T.J. was a wholesaler for a financial services firm working with advisors on investment strategies for their clients. T.J. also worked as a direct sales agent for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield where he was responsible for new policy sales in their corporate office. T.J. is a member of the Charleston Area Alliance and Charleston Rotary Club. T.J. is very active in both the West Virginia University alumni group and Beta Theta Pi alumni groups.

As Assistant Vice President of Business Development, T.J. is responsible for business loan development in the State West Virginia Market and in Southeastern Ohio.

Sean currently serves as Business Development Officer for Cooperative Business Services (CBS) in the Kentucky market. Sean is a 2004 graduate of Morehead State University where he studied Business Administration and Real Estate. While at MSU Sean was a member of Theta Chi fraternity and was captain of the university golf team. Prior to joining CBS, Sean was responsible for business development and operations management for a privately held logistics company. Sean also worked as a residential loan officer in the Louisville, KY market for First Liberty Financial Mortgage. Sean is a new member of Commerce Lexington Inc, Greater Louisville Inc, and an active member of the Morehead State University Alumni Association.

Kevin A. Brosch currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Cooperative Business Services in Southwest Ohio. Kevin is a 2005 Graduate of Franklin University in Columbus, OH where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He is also a 2013 Graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where he received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance.

Prior to joining CBS, Kevin was a Commercial Loan Officer and Assistant Vice President at CenterBank in Cincinnati where he gained valuable experience in business development as well as commercial loan structuring, pricing, and underwriting. Kevin also worked for Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati where he was an Assistant Vice President in Commercial Credit, he began his career with the company as a Financial Center Manager in various local branches. Kevin is actively involved with the Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati (CRECGC), CCIM Ohio, the Mason Deerfield Chamber of Commerce (MADE), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Cincinnati Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network (CREW), the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the UC Real Estate Roundtable, and Business Network International (BNI).  He is also on the Development Committee of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.

Joe Bajas currently serves as Business Development Officer for Cooperative Business Services (CBS) in Northwest Ohio. As Business Development Officer, Joe is responsible for business loan originations in Northwest Ohio. Joe is a graduate of The University of Toledo, where he majored in Finance, as well earning his MBA thereafter.

Prior to joining CBS, Joe held positions as both a Finance Specialist and Manager of Finance & Special Projects at the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. While at the Port Authority, Joe’s core responsibilities included the administration and management the Port’s financing programs, including SBA and State of Ohio loans, municipal bond and capital lease transactions, and a revolving loan fund.  Prior to the Port Authority, Joe joined the U.S. Navy, serving an active duty tour until he was honorably discharged in 2006.

Joe is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Toledo, a member of EPIC Toledo, and a member of United Way’s Emerging Leaders, where he currently serves on its Executive Committee. Joe volunteers his time as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NW Ohio and also with the Salvation Army.
