Homebase Credit Union, a partner of Cooperative Business Services (CBS), recently hosted its annual Charity Golf Tournament. CBS was honored to participate and sponsor an event dedicated to giving back to organizations that are making a profound difference.

Proceeds from the event went to the following organizations:
- Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center: Established in 2010, CFBOC is passionate about their vision to nourish and strengthen our community. CFBOC seeks to tackle the root causes of hunger to empower lives. Their mission is about feeding those in need and empowering individuals and families to overcome the root causes of food insecurity. By addressing the underlying issues, they can create sustainable change that ripples through the entire community. Learn more at www.cfboc.org.
- James House: As part of a state-wide network of accredited shelters, James House provides emergency shelter for those in danger of domestic violence and sexual violence in the Greater Tri-Cities Region. Caseworkers assist with: safe, stable housing, access to food and clothing, applying for benefits, conducting a job search, accessing health care, educational services, safety planning, and more. Services are trauma-informed, cost-free, confidential, and available in English and Spanish. Learn more at www.thejameshouse.org.
Thank you to Homebase Credit Union for organizing such a meaningful event and to everyone who came out to support this important cause. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
