Cincinnati, OH – September 29, 2026 – Cooperative Business Services (CBS), a Credit Union Service Organization specializing in commercial lending solutions, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Lorain Cooper as Chief Executive Officer of CBS, making her appointment permanent following her period serving as Interim CEO.
Cooper has been an integral member of the CBS team for over 21 years. Prior to assuming the Interim CEO role, she served as the organization’s Chief Risk Officer, bringing extensive experience in commercial lending, risk management, compliance, and the credit union industry to her leadership of the company.
